I was looking for news on Denali when I stumbled across an interesting article on the Anchorage Daily News website.
It’s got some info on the 2 missing Japanese climbers’ ascent and some general stats about climbing fatalities in Alaska.
The stats serve as a good reminder that it’s the descent that’s often the killer!
